Ok if you havent noticed, Im a little obsessed with Pinterest lately.  Part of my 2012 New Years Resolutions, I wanted to pin something ORIGINAL because Im a copy cat.  So looky looky what I did.

Ok my picture quality isnt GREAT, but let me tell you, this thing was DELICIOUS

I used mozzarella, 2 slices, avocado, grilled tomatoes and onions.  Let me tell you, it was soooo good.

Check out the pin here, if for no other reason than proff that I did pin it.

Also, has any heard of this trick? Instead of putting all the bacon grease in a can (we all do it, or maybe just us folks in the south ;) ) or down the drain with scalding water, try this:   Wrap a bowl in foil and put the hot bacon grease inside.  Let it cool  When its cool, roll up the foil and toss it.  No mess, no burns, no problem.

How have I not thought of this before?

Lets Paint

For Valentines Day, I told you I was waaaaaaaaaay behind, I wanted to kids to make their Valentines.  I blame Pinterest.  I came across this idea to make hugs out of hand prints so I thought oh yes, that would be wonderful to send to people and the kids would get a lot of joy out of getting dirty. 

So off we went. I bought finger paint, card sheets, string, and a drop clothe to catch all the mess.  I dont mind mess, but I really dont like digging paint out of carpet either.

Then we began.

Cole was 'neat' at first, I say that as I notice he has it on his stomach.

And of coarse, Elyse dove right in.



There were giggling and yelling "More paint mom, more paint

Cole then got into it and starting painting everything, instead of just putting down his hand prints.

Elyse made a stamp out of her hand and was smacking and smashing until she ran out of paper.

Sadly, these did not turn into Valentines, but they are still super cute. 
And it entertained these 2 for about an hour.

Im sure Ill come up with something to make out them, helllllo Pinterest.

Ok Im for real this time

Im REALLLY back this time.  I have SOOOO many things that the kids have done that I need/want to share.  Starting tomorrow, I swear this time, there will be regular daily posts, whether you like it or not :)

In the meantime, I know you have missed them so here they are, I cant beleive how big they have gotten.

WOW its been WAY too long since this has been updated.  I wont go into details but my life has completely changed and time has gotten away from me.  Im still here, the kids are still insane.  Consider this a hello, Im back.  I have lots to catch up on, hopefully I can get it under wraps quickly.

What has everyone else been doing for the last 1.5 months?
