Baby books, done

Im on a roll lately.  I keep checking things off my list of things to do.  I went to Scrap again this weekend. I dont have a creative bone in my body so its good to be around people who can 'see' what it will look like.  I feel completely blindfolded when it comes to that kind of stuff.  Ive been trying to figure out what scrap book to start with and I kept drawing a blank.  So instead of a REAL scrapbook, I decided to finish my pregnancy book and the baby books.  I finished my prego book awhile back so my focus was on the baby books.  Long story short, it took a few weekends, but they are complete, until they turn 2 of course.  (Which BTW, I cant believe that its only 3 weeks away, there has the time gone)

Here are a few pictures from their books.

Now on to a real scrapbook.  The plan is to do one for every year, starting with 2011. I also want to do one with all my races.  You know pictures on one side, bib  on the other.  Shouldnt be too hard right?  I have ideas but no clue where to start.  Im sure itll all work out and Ill be a scrapping queen before I know it.

Ok maybe not queen, but I can hope to be the jester right?

Its only Saturday afternoon?

Its only Saturday and I feel like I havent sat down since I got off work yesterday.  After picking up the kids, I rushed to get them both to my mom's house for the weekend.  We are going out for my birthday, 4 days away, and she asked to take them.  So off they went.

My old lady weekend began.

So last night, me and Wendy headed to a coupon class.  Thats right, a class on coupons.  It was an overview but we figured we might learn something new.  (Did you know you can freeze PB and J and throw them in a lunch box and they will be thawed by lunch?  Who knew) Anyway,  it was a night away with all girls that I didnt want to shoot, shock I know.  It was fun and hopefully we will be able to do it again soon.

I finally fell asleep and heard the alarm go off at 6:45.  CRAP  It was supposed to go off at 6:15.  You see, I was supposed to meet a co-worker to run my long run for the week.  CRAP  So Im running around the house, in the dark, looking for socks and pants and head bands.  WHEW  I was 45 minutes late but I got there and off we went.

9 MILES  NON-STOP, with exception of water breaks.  Thank goodness Noe was with me because I would have walked at some points but he kept me going so it was good.  9 MILES IN 1:39:21, I can so do this  :)

After the run, I rushed home to grab pictures and books and took off to The Colony to do more scrap booking.  Im this close to finishing the baby books, but OF COURSE, I left some needed pictures on my dining room table.  Next time, they will get done, up till they turn 2.

Whew, I just got tired writing that.

Off to mark off more items on my to-do list while I am kid free, but I think I need to schedule a nap.

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend was quite.

It was nice.

Saturday, I became someone else.  I never understood how people can scrapbook.  I never got how a person could cut our paper and glue/tape it in a book for HOURS. Until this weekend.

I was invited to scrap (Its the cool way to say it, didnt you know) from 10-4.  My first thought?  What am I going to do for 6 hours. Well the time flew by.  We didnt cut paper for 6 hours.  We talked.  We ate.  We talked some more.  It was nice.

And I completed my pregnancy book.

It took 2 years, but I finished it, finally.

Also, the baby books are just about done, up to date that is.  I have ordered the remaining prints I need and should finish them both in the next couple of weeks.  A girl can hope.

Then I can start a scrapbook for their first year and whatever else I decide to come up with.

On another note, it snowed.

In Texas.

In January.

Is this gonna be another repeat of the 12 inches we got last year?  Probably not, but again, a girl can hope.
